1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using artist.dev (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

artist.dev is a music discovery platform that allows artists to submit their songs for community voting and discovery. The Service includes song submission, voting features, and artist dashboards.

• New songs drop daily at 10am Central Time.
• A maximum of 10 songs are released per day. Slots may fill up.
• Artists can schedule their song for a specific launch date or launch immediately.
• Songs are scheduled on weekdays only.

3. Song Submissions

• Artists may submit songs for a fee of $29 per submission.
• Promotional codes may be offered for free or discounted submissions at our discretion.
• By submitting a song, you represent that you own or have the rights to distribute the content.
• Submissions are non-refundable once payment is processed. If your scheduled slot becomes unavailable, we will work with you to reschedule.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines.

4. Artist Dashboard

After submission, you will receive a unique dashboard link via email. This link provides access to your song's performance statistics. Keep this link secure — anyone with the link can view your dashboard. We do not require account creation; access is managed through these private links.

5. Voting and User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Manipulate voting through bots, fake accounts, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
• Circumvent our bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) or rate limiting systems.
• Submit content that is offensive, illegal, or infringes on others' rights.
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We implement rate limiting on votes and use browser storage to track your voting activity to ensure fair participation. Abuse of the voting system may result in temporary or permanent restrictions.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your submitted content. By submitting to artist.dev, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and promote your submission on our platform. For copyright infringement claims, see our DMCA Takedown Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

artist.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
