SHOLTO
Widescreen soundtrack soul for fans of old film scores
SHOLTO is the instrumental project of London-born Oscar Robertson, a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. The music is warm and widescreen: analogue textures, instrumental grooves and an unembarrassed sentimental streak. The writing takes its cues from film composers of the 1950s through the 1970s, near The Cinematic Orchestra, Robohands and The Ironsides. His 2023 debut was The Changing Tides Of Dreams. He's produced, mixed and drummed for Wet Leg, Spiritualized, Miles Kane and Katy J Pearson, and recently sold out two nights at Ronnie Scott's.
